Fall 2018
Rates:
Pay per lesson is $1/minute. If you pay per month you will receive a 5% discount and if you pay for the semester you’ll receive a 10% discount.
You may participate in the monthly group classes for $15/class.
Lesson dates:
There will be 15 lessons from September – December.
There will be no lessons the week of November 18th for Thanksgiving holiday.
The last lesson of the semester will be the week of December 16th.
I will be available for lessons on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Makeups:
Unless there is an emergency, there must be 24 hours notice about cancelling or rescheduling a lesson or the lesson must be paid for.
I am able to reschedule up to five lessons per semester. After that rescheduling may be possible on a case by case basis.
Recitals:
There will be a recital at the end of each semester with piano accompaniment at a recital space. I highly encourage all students to share their music with the community! There is a $20 fee to participate in the recital, to cover the expenses of the accompanist and space.
Group classes:
Group classes are optional but highly encouraged. It is very motivational and exciting to play music with others! We will also have the opportunity to play in the community in informal concert spaces, such as cafes and farmers markets.
Lesson location:
Lessons are taught out of the Moshi Moshi hair salon in Chapel Hill on Sundays and Mondays and the Advocate Church in Chapel Hill on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lessons in Durham are scheduled as requested out of the Moshi Moshi hair salon in Durham.
Depending on your location, I can come to you for a $20 fee.
